SUPERINTENDANT IN DETROIT (MI)

Description:
Our client is a Developer-Contractor based in the United States. Present for 6 years both in Miami and in Detroit (Michigan) they build, remodel and sell buildings dedicated to residential housing. (Individual or collective) of all sizes.

In order to support their strong development, we are looking for a confirmed Superintendent based in Detroit.

Reporting to the on-site Construction Manager, you monitor the proper monitoring and execution of the work entrusted to you.

You will have a team management of 10 to 20 people as well as the subcontractors
Team Leader, you are the guarantor of quality, respect for costs, deadlines and project safety.
You implement the organization of the operation on the management of works by applying the procedures of the company.

You would build and remodel approximately 3 to 4 properties per month (houses, multi-family, duplex, triplex, quadruplex, etc.).

The cadences are punctuated on a daily schedule from 7 am to 5 pm. You don’t work on weekends.

Under a local contract, your compensation will be paid in USD on 12 monthly payments.
Bonuses are also planned every month depending on the objectives set / achieved.

A vehicle will also be made available.

Expatriation / VISA conditions are taken care of.

Required skill:
Graduate from a Masters degree, you’d have a similar experience of at least 5 years in construction area within a construction company.
Leader of men, you are recognized for your excellent interpersonal skills, pragmatism and thoroughness. You know how to use your hands and are very “handy”. Resourcefulness is one of your qualities.

Your knowledge of the various construction fields (architectural and technical/HVAC) is recognized and know how a building with residential vocation works.

You have a level (at least academic) of English.

Finally, the cold (due to the Detroit weather) and the family / friends do not scares you.

Good prospects are possible in the short term.
